What is Paradise Cave in Phong Nha?
Paradise Cave is a 31.4 km dry limestone cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, about 65 km from Dong Hoi in Quang Tri Province. Visitors walk its first kilometre on a raised boardwalk, in about three hours from the gate and back. With a local guide you get more than the photo: how these formations grew, and what explorers found here in 2005.
On our tours the ticket, the buggy and every other cost are already included — you never open your wallet.
Shared group tour vs. private tour
Shared group tours suit travellers who are happy to follow a big group on a fixed plan. Here is what actually changes when the day is yours.

Questions people ask before booking
Is Paradise Cave worth visiting?
Yes, if you can manage the stairs. Vietnam’s record keepers list it as the longest dry cave in Asia, and the boardwalk puts you right among the formations. Coloured lights in some parts will not suit everyone, and on a busy late morning it can feel crowded.
How far is Paradise Cave from Dong Hoi?
About 65 km, or roughly 75 minutes by car. From Phong Nha town it is about 25 km and 35 minutes. From Hue it is about 210 km to Phong Nha, around 4 hours each way, which makes for a long day.
What exactly is included in the price?
Private car with driver, a licensed local guide who speaks fluent English, hotel pickup and drop-off anywhere in Dong Hoi, Phong Nha or central Hue, all entrance fees, the electric buggy, the Son River boat where the tour uses it, and lunch on the full-day tours. The only things not included are personal shopping and optional tips.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — free cancellation up to 3 days before departure, and free rescheduling subject to availability. Within 3 days of departure, 30% of the tour price is charged because the car and guide are already committed.
Can the tour be tailored for children, older parents or our own interests?
Yes — every itinerary can be adjusted. Tell us who is travelling and what you enjoy, and we will change the stops and the pace to suit. At Paradise Cave you can take a longer slope instead of the 500 stone steps up to the cave mouth, but the long wooden stairs inside cannot be avoided, and there is no lift.
How do I pay, and when?
Two ways: pay the full price online by card, or pay a 30% deposit online and the rest in cash on the day of the tour, in US dollars or Vietnamese dong. We can also send a secure payment link on WhatsApp. The booking is confirmed once the online payment goes through, and your pickup time and guide’s name arrive in writing.
How far ahead should I book?
A few days is comfortable in the busy months from February to August; at quieter times next-day requests often work. Message us and we will tell you honestly what is still open.
